The Cruises
April through October, the Windfall II sails daily, weather permitting. Join in with the sail hoisting or just kick back and relax as we sail out of beautiful Silver Lake. Unless special arrangements are made, all of our cruises last an hour and a half.
The schooner can be chartered privately for up to six passengers for $300 total at sunset (our most popular time) or $200 total at earlier times of day. Individual seats on cruises shared with other parties are $50 each at sunset or $35 each at earlier times. You can pay at the end of the cruise with cash or plastic. |

What to Bring
- Camera
- Jacket/Sweater (on breezy days and at sunset, it's often cooler out on the sound)
- Food and drink (We don't provide any refreshments/Beer and wine are acceptable/No hard liquor please except on private charters).
- "Six pack" coolers OK. Due to limited deck space, please leave large coolers ashore.
Weddings
If there’s a more romantic setting for a wedding than under a full press of gaff-rigged canvas on Pamlico Sound at sunset, we can’t picture it. Ordained by the Universal Life Church, the captain is legally authorized to perform weddings on board.
